Spanish police drug trafficking operations

Overview

Spanish law enforcement conducted separate operations against drug trafficking in Puertollano and Mogán.

In Puertollano, the National Police arrested four individuals following a high-speed chase. During the pursuit, suspects threw a package containing 1,147 grams of high-purity cocaine onto a rooftop and crashed into a house and a police vehicle, injuring one officer. A subsequent raid on a production and distribution site led to the arrest of a man and a woman and the seizure of cocaine doses and 2,760 euros.

In Mogán, local police arrested a man at a shopping center following surveillance of drug sales to tourists and families. During the intervention, officers observed suspicious exchanges of white substances. The arrest involved a violent confrontation where the suspect attempted to strike an officer with a stone and pushed a female officer down a set of stairs.
