Puglia and Lazio regional councils advance 2025 financial reports

The First Commission of the Puglia Regional Council has approved the 2025 general financial report for the region. The report shows approximately 16 billion euros in recognized revenue, with 11 billion euros collected. Total committed expenditures reached approximately 15.8 billion euros, resulting in a positive competence balance exceeding 715 million euros.

In the Lazio region, the Regional Accounting Control Committee (Corecoco), chaired by Eleonora Mattia, has approved the 2025 general regional report and various accounting documents for regional entities. While the report received a positive assessment from the Court of Auditors, Mattia noted chronic delays in the submission of documents by certain entities, such as the Irvit and the Jemolo Institute of Legal Studies. The committee has announced a cycle of audits for September to address these management issues and the ongoing problem of aging active residues.
