Puglia inaugurates new school facilities funded by PNRR
New educational facilities have been inaugurated in Puglia, Italy, funded through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).
In Canosa di Puglia, the new “Guglielmo Marconi” polyvalent school was officially opened. The project, which cost over 4.1 million euros, includes nine middle school classrooms and a gymnasium. The inauguration was attended by various civil, military, and religious authorities, including Undersecretary of State Paola Frassinetti and MEP Francesco Ventola. The facility was a long-standing request from residents of Canosa Alta.
In Albanella, a new school canteen was inaugurated at the Marconi primary school. Also funded by the PNRR, the facility aims to improve services for local families and enhance the educational experience through integrated mealtime activities. Mayor Renato Josca noted that the canteen serves as a social and formative space for students, and indicated that a second project for the local middle school is also nearing completion.
