Puglia launches permanent family‑care worker registry and posts 456 new jobs

The regional agency ARPAL Puglia has issued a public notice to create a permanent list of qualified family assistants. Applications opened on 6 July via the “Lavoro per Te” portal and employment centres. The register aims to speed family access to certified carers for the disabled, the elderly and other vulnerable persons, and to formalise care work in the regional welfare system.

In a weekly employment bulletin for the Lecce area, ARPAL reported 456 open positions across 198 announcements. The construction and plant‑installation sector leads with 102 vacancies, followed by tourism, food‑service, telecommunications and textile‑apparel. The bulletin also notes targeted openings for people with disabilities and protected categories, ten training internships and opportunities for EU‑wide mobility through the EURES network.
