Puglia rolls out €360 million 'Puglia Moltiplica' plan to boost regional firms

The Apulian regional government unveiled the ‘Puglia Moltiplica’ action plan, a €360 million financing package intended to support local enterprises from micro‑companies to firms with up to 499 employees. President Antonio Decaro presented the scheme, which combines EU‑funded resources, reclaimed loan repayments and public‑private leverage.

The programme comprises seven measures, led by the €80 million “Fondo minibond Puglia 2021‑2027” that can mobilise up to €320 million in financing. Additional tools include an equity venture‑capital fund, a short‑term guarantee facility, micro‑loans, venture debt and a “Rilancio & Crescita” instrument. Together with the regional development agency Puglia Sviluppo, partners such as Banca Sella, Sella Investment Banking and Cassa Depositi e Prestiti aim to catalyse more than €2.9 billion of new investments, helping companies grow, internationalise and access capital markets.

The initiative is pitched as a step forward in regional industrial policy, seeking to enhance competitiveness, create jobs and attract further private investment to the Apulia economy.
