Puglia promotes audiovisual industry at Venice Film Festival and Apulia Web Fest

The Puglia region is highlighting its audiovisual sector through major international and local events. At the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, the Apulia Film Commission and the Puglia Region are presenting four supported productions and hosting institutional meetings for producers and policymakers. A key highlight is the presentation of the Apulia Film Fund 2026, which includes a 5 million euro allocation to support regional audiovisual development.

Additionally, the eighth edition of the Apulia Web Fest will take place in Corato from September 11 to 13. This festival focuses on independent international cinema, including short films, vertical videos, pilots, and video podcasts. The event aims to promote the territory by blending independent audiovisual content with local culture and food, featuring masterclasses, panels, and screenings to support emerging talent.
