Puglia stages Miss Italia tour in Surbo and Fabrizio De André tribute in Trani

The Miss Italia 2026 tour opened in Surbo, Puglia, on 21 June at the Mongolfiera shopping centre. Organized by Carmen Martorana Eventi with support from the regional government, the event featured host Christian Binetti, singer Elena Cappiello, actress Lilia Pierno and reigning Miss Italia Katia Buchicchio.

On 14 June, the Palazzo delle Arti Beltrani in Trani, Puglia, hosted a tribute to Italian singer‑songwriter Fabrizio De André. The concert, performed by the group I Maltesi, recreated De André’s original arrangements and was part of the venue’s new “Canta Autori” series.

Both events were promoted as cultural highlights for the region, drawing local audiences and media attention.
