Pula hosts 14th annual Brazil Days cultural festival
The 14th Brazil Days in Pula will take place from October 14 to 16, featuring a program centered on language, sound, and ecology. Organized by the Pula branch of the Croatian Emigrants' Home and Dr. Milan Puh, the event aims to strengthen multicultural ties and foster networking between artists and educational institutions.
The program includes various activities across multiple locations in Pula, such as the City Library, Kino Valli, and the Music Academy. Highlights include an exhibition titled ‘The Club of Croatian Embroidery in Brazil,’ Portuguese language workshops, film screenings, and lectures.
Special guest Yury Behr Kimizuka, a musician, composer, and ethnomusicologist, will lead workshops and lectures exploring the intersections of ethnomusicology, technology, and the environment in Brazilian music. The event is supported by the City of Pula.
