Pula hosts cultural project to promote Macedonian language and heritage
Students from various cities in Croatia participated in the project ‘Collage of Macedonian Culture – Flavors and Spaces of Macedonia and Istria,’ held in Pula from October 16 to 18, 2026. The initiative aimed to strengthen students' knowledge of the Macedonian language and culture while exploring the connections between Macedonian and Istrian cultural heritage.
The program included visits to the Pula Arena, guided city tours, and a reception at the City Palace. Organized by Macedonian cultural society ‘St. Cyril and Methodius’ from Pula and co-financed by the Croatian Ministry of Science and Education, the project focused on preserving cultural identity among younger generations in the diaspora through direct experience and knowledge exchange.
