Pula participates in 25th Coppa del Presidente della Repubblica regatta in Venice

The city of Pula participated in the 25th edition of the ‘Coppa del Presidente della Repubblica’ regatta held in Venice. Organized by the Associazione Vela al Terzo Venezia (AVT), the event took place in the San Marco basin and featured approximately seventy traditional vessels.

This jubilee edition featured a unique theme where each vessel was linked to an article of the Italian Constitution, merging maritime culture with national values. Pula was represented by two traditional wooden boats: the Tartana, a historical sailing vessel built in 1927 and restored by owner Zoran Todić, and Grga, an 11-meter traditional leut owned by Marijan Išić.

This marked the first official participation of the Istrian cities of Pula and Rovinj in the regatta, highlighting the shared maritime heritage of the Adriatic coasts.
