Pump.fun mobile app surpasses Fomo in daily active Solana traders

The Pump.fun mobile app has overtaken Fomo in daily active Solana traders, maintaining the lead for four consecutive days in late October 2026. This shift follows a period where Fomo held a significant advantage, previously recording approximately four times as many daily active users as Pump.fun.

Despite the increase in active users, Fomo maintains a lead in other key metrics. As of October 25, 2026, Fomo recorded 52,300 daily active wallets compared to 48,400 for Pump.fun. Fomo also continues to lead in trading volume, average swap sizes, and revenue, having outperformed Pump.fun in daily revenue during September 2026.

Data regarding the platform's token lifecycle shows that between January 2024 and June 2026, Pump.fun facilitated the creation of over 18.6 million tokens. Most of these tokens have extremely short lifespans: nearly 70% cease trading on the day of launch, and 80% are inactive within 48 hours. A study of over 832,000 launches in mid-2026 found a graduation rate of only 0.198%, meaning very few tokens successfully move from the platform's bonding curve to an open market. During the same period, the platform generated more than $1.2 billion in revenue through trading fees.
