Pump.fun PUMP token rallies on Jupiter accumulation and protocol burns

The PUMP token has experienced a price rally driven by significant accumulation by Jupiter and protocol-led buyback mechanisms. Jupiter acquired 1.6 billion tokens, valued at approximately $5 million, which represents about 0.242% of the total PUMP supply. This accumulation helped reduce immediate market availability by keeping buying orders outside of the selling channel.

Parallel to this, the Pump.fun protocol has utilized its rising revenue to fuel token burns. The protocol generates substantial income, recently reporting approximately $1.16 million in 24-hour revenue. Under its current framework, the protocol allocates 50% of its net revenue to purchasing and burning PUMP tokens. To date, these buybacks have exceeded $430 million, resulting in the burning of more than 16% of the total token supply.
