Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann launches 'Hamare Ram' theater tour

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann inaugurated the first performance of the play “Hamare Ram” in Mohali, with actor Ashutosh Rana in the lead role. The show is the kickoff of a state‑wide cultural campaign that will present 41 free performances across 12 cities in Punjab during August and September.

The government says the tour aims to convey the timeless teachings of Lord Ram—truth, duty, compassion and unity—and to reinforce traditional values of Sanatan Dharma. All shows are free to ensure that people from every segment of society can attend and be inspired by the epic’s messages.
