Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann distributes 866 government job appointments

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann distributed appointment letters to 866 newly selected candidates in Mohali. This latest round of recruitment brings the total number of government jobs provided by the current administration to 69,094.

The new appointments include 636 positions within the Health and Family Welfare Department, such as staff nurses and pharmacists. Other roles were filled in Sugarfed, the Defence Services Welfare Department, the Cooperation Department, and the Home Department.

Chief Minister Mann stated that the recruitment process was conducted with complete transparency and based solely on merit. He claimed that, unlike previous administrations, his government does not use cash or political recommendations to secure positions. Mann also noted that the government's focus on employment and education aims to provide opportunities for local youth and reduce the trend of migration abroad.
