Punjab CM Bhagwant Singh Mann seeks Dutch investment to boost state industry
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann traveled to the Netherlands to promote the Indian state as a destination for European investment. He highlighted Punjab’s strengths in food processing, logistics, alloys and steel, pharmaceuticals and information technology, and presented recent governance reforms such as the FastTrack Punjab single‑window system and amendments to the Right to Business Act.
During the visit Mann met with the Netherlands India Chamber of Commerce & Trade, chaired by Edith Nordmann, and urged Dutch companies to consider projects in Punjab, emphasizing the state’s stable policies, skilled workforce and strong infrastructure. The trip aims to deepen bilateral ties and attract new foreign direct investment to accelerate industrial growth in Punjab.
