Punta Ala Sail & Cook 2026 regatta blends sailing and gourmet cooking

The third edition of Punta Ala Sail & Cook took place in Punta Ala, Italy, on June 23‑24, 2026. Ten yachts competed in a two‑day format: Saturday featured a technical sailing race around the Gulf of Punta Ala, while Sunday turned the anchored boats into floating kitchens where professional and amateur chefs prepared gourmet dishes.

The event was organized by WEWE Agency with the Yacht Club Punta Ala and Marina di Punta Ala, supported by sponsors such as Promotica, WD Lifestyle, Savini Tartufi, and Acqua Panna San Pellegrino. Truffles were the mandatory ingredient, and a wine‑pairing challenge added a further layer of competition. A jury led by Rubina Rovini, Ljubica Komlenic, Matteo Donati and sailor Tommaso Chieffi evaluated the culinary creations.

Overall winner Dida VI topped both the sailing (compensated time) and culinary (best overall dish) rankings, followed by Candelluva 3 and Tango. Candelluva 3 won the real‑time sailing race, while Dida VI claimed the compensated‑time victory. In the food contest, Dida VI earned Best Dish and Best Non‑Professional Chef for a “Tartufo al quadrato”; Domitienne was named Best Professional Chef for red‑shrimp tagliatelle; Khelis won the Best Truffle Use award; Tango, Bambola and Free Born took the wine‑pairing prize. The event emphasized teamwork, quality, respect for the sea and shared passion among participants.
