Punta Cana hosts 10th Beach Volleyball Classic

The 10th Punta Cana Beach Volleyball Classic is scheduled to take place from October 23 to 25 at Los Corales beach. The tournament features athletes from 14 countries, including the United States, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic, among others.

As part of the NORCECA Tour, this event offers double points compared to regular circuit stages, making it a critical competition for players seeking qualification for the Lima 2027 Pan American Games. The tournament includes both men's and women's divisions.

Among the notable competitors are the Cuban men's duo, Damián Gómez and Eblis Veranes, who recently won gold at the Central American and Caribbean Games. They will face significant competition from Mexican, Canadian, and American teams.
