Punto Empleo job fair to offer 2,500 vacancies in Chile

The Universidad Autónoma de Chile and the Municipality of Providencia have announced the tenth edition of the Punto Empleo job fair. This initiative aims to connect professionals and job seekers with employment opportunities amid a Chilean labor market facing a 9.4% unemployment rate, the highest in five years.

The event will feature more than 2,500 job vacancies and the participation of over 150 companies, including Sonda, Salfa, Help, EntreLagos, Enseña Chile, Clínicas Bupa, XinerLink, AbInBev, and Mandarin Oriental. Salary ranges for the positions vary from the minimum wage of $553,000 to $7,300,000.

The fair will be held online from August 24 to 28, with in-person sessions scheduled for August 24 in Santiago, August 25 in Talca, and August 27 in Temuco. Available roles include product managers, CRM specialists, management control analysts, professional drivers, and telecommunications technicians, as well as part-time positions for students and inclusive employment opportunities.
