Punto Fijo delivery driver killed in fatal vehicle collision

A 26-year-old delivery driver, Enyerbert Daniel Sibada Chirino, died on Sunday morning after being struck by a Toyota Land Cruiser in Punto Fijo, Falcón state. The accident occurred near the Alí Primera Intercomunal in the Las Margaritas sector.

The vehicle was driven by 21-year-old Ángel Emilio Martínez. Following the incident, videos circulated on social media allegedly showing the driver engaging in reckless maneuvers and street racing in various parts of the city. Witnesses reported that the driver may have been speeding prior to the collision.

In response to the fatality, colleagues of Sibada Chirino have organized a protest scheduled for Monday at the Curva de Sabino in the Carirubana municipality to demand justice. Authorities, including the National Bolivarian Police (PNB) and Civil Protection, attended the scene to conduct investigations and recover the body.
