PWI Riau Islands leadership re-inaugurated for 2023–2028 term

The Indonesian Journalists Association (PWI) for the Riau Islands province has officially re-inaugurated its leadership for the remainder of the 2023–2028 term. The ceremony was led by PWI Central Chairman Akhmad Munir in Batam on September 17, 2026.

The new leadership team includes Saibansah Dardani as Chairman, Alfian Lumban Gaol as Secretary, and Nizamul Akhyar as Treasurer. Other key appointments include Marganas Nainggolan as Chairman of the Advisory Board and Parna E. Simarmata as Chairman of the Honor Council.

During the inauguration, Akhmad Munir emphasized the importance of maintaining the “DNA Pejuang” (fighter DNA) spirit, noting that the organization must uphold professionalism and journalistic values while navigating the challenges of the information disruption era and artificial intelligence.
