Pyszne.pl reports surge in summer food orders in Polish resorts

Data from Pyszne.pl reveals a significant seasonal shift in food delivery habits among Polish consumers during the summer months. In July and August, order volumes moved from major cities toward tourist resorts, particularly along the Baltic coast.

The most dramatic increases were recorded in small seaside towns, with Postomin seeing a 771% rise, Łeba 688%, and Ustronie Morskie 587%. Other notable increases occurred in Rewal (286%), Mielno (225%), and Władysławowo (125%). Growth was also observed in mountain regions, including Szklarska Poręba (81%), Karpacz (55%), and Zakopane (39%).

This surge is driven primarily by an influx of new users traveling for vacation rather than increased frequency from local residents. According to Pyszne.pl spokesperson Aleksander Rosa, users do not abandon the app during holidays but continue to use it similarly to their daily routines, simply under different addresses. This creates an intense, short-term demand window for local gastronomy in tourist hubs.
