Qatar Airways expands Starlink Wi-Fi rollout to over 150 aircraft

Qatar Airways has expanded its Starlink Wi-Fi rollout, now providing high-speed connectivity to over 150 widebody aircraft. The airline has become the first globally to operate Starlink-equipped Boeing 787-9 aircraft and has completed the installation across its entire Boeing 777 and Airbus A350 fleets.

The service offers speeds of up to 500 Mbps, supporting activities such as gaming, VPN access, and video streaming. Qatar Airways provides this Wi-Fi on a complimentary basis. The airline aims to have its total number of Starlink-equipped aircraft reach 180 by the end of the year and expects to complete the rollout across its entire Boeing 787 fleet by the end of 2026.
