Qatar condemns Iran's attacks on Jordan, Bahrain and Kuwait, urges immediate halt

Qatar's foreign ministry issued a strong condemnation of Iran's repeated attacks on Jordan, Bahrain and Kuwait, calling them flagrant violations of the targeted states' sovereignty, the UN Charter and international law. The statement warned that the assaults on electricity and water infrastructure constitute a serious escalation that could undermine diplomatic efforts, and reaffirmed Qatar's right to self‑defence under Article 51 of the UN Charter while pledging all necessary measures to protect its own territory and citizens.

The condemnation was echoed by Arab League Secretary‑General Nabil Fahmi and the Gulf Cooperation Council chief, who described the attacks as aggressive, noted civilian injuries in Kuwait and stressed that the violence threatens regional stability and must cease immediately.
