Qidi launches Max 4 large-format 3D printer

Qidi has released the Max 4, its largest and most ambitious consumer-grade CoreXY 3D printer to date. Designed to address the engineering challenges of large-format printing, the machine features a massive build volume suitable for large cosplay parts, functional prototypes, and industrial components.

The Max 4 includes hardware upgrades such as closed-loop X/Y steppers, a linear-rail X-axis, and a heavy steel chassis to ensure stability. It is equipped with a high-temperature extruder, a heated bed, and an actively heated chamber capable of handling materials like ABS, ASA, nylon, and carbon-fiber composites.

Maintaining an enthusiast-focused approach, the printer offers direct access to Klipper and Fluidd firmware, supports Orca Slicer, and provides Ethernet connectivity to avoid cloud-only workflows. The standalone Max 4 is priced starting at $1,049, while the Max 4 Combo, which includes the Qidi Box multicolor filament system and Polar Cooler module, is priced at $1,199.
