Qidi Technology large-format 3D printer launches

Overview

Qidi Technology has expanded its lineup of large-format CoreXY 3D printers with two new releases.

In early August, the company unveiled the Plus5, a closed-frame FDM printer featuring a 320 × 320 × 300 mm build volume. The Plus5 includes a 400 W heated build chamber, high-precision linear guides, and intelligent nozzle-pressure detection to support professional prototyping and batch production.

Following this, Qidi released the Max 4, described as its largest consumer-grade CoreXY printer. The Max 4 is designed for large-scale components and features closed-loop X/Y steppers, a heavy steel chassis, and an actively heated chamber capable of processing materials such as ABS, ASA, nylon, and carbon-fiber composites. The Max 4 is available as a standalone unit or as a Combo including a multicolor filament system and a cooling module.
