Quang Ninh and Tay Ninh drive high-tech economic growth

Vietnamese provinces Quang Ninh and Tay Ninh are implementing strategic development plans for the 2025-2030 period, focusing on high-tech industries and regional connectivity.

Quang Ninh aims to become a leader in science, technology, and digital transformation. The province is prioritizing investments in semiconductor manufacturing, high technology, and renewable energy. As part of this initiative, FPT Group is investing over 138 billion VND to develop the Tuan Chau Digital Technology Zone. This 8.94-hectare project is designed to provide infrastructure for software, artificial intelligence, big data, and cloud computing companies.

Tay Ninh is working toward becoming a dynamic economic hub connecting the Southeast region with the Mekong Delta and ASEAN markets. The province reported a GRDP growth rate of 10.12%, ranking 8th among 34 provinces in Vietnam. Tay Ninh’s strategic focus includes administrative reform, digital and green transformation, and improving inter-regional transport infrastructure to support industrial and urban expansion.
