Quang Ninh explores cultural values as drivers for development

A seminar was held in Quang Ninh to discuss transforming cultural values into drivers for regional development. The event featured representatives from the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and local Quang Ninh leadership, including Vu Quyet Tien, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

The discussions focused on implementing the directions of the 14th Party Congress and Politburo Resolution No. 80-NQ/TW regarding cultural development. Key objectives include fostering cultural industries and a heritage-based economy to create new growth models. Participants emphasized using cultural resources and human strength as endogenous drivers for rapid and sustainable development, leveraging Quang Ninh’s diverse cultural identity and growing tourism market.
