In Da Nang, the Hoa Bac Ecological Agriculture and Community Tourism Cooperative combines community tourism with ecological agriculture and Co Tu ethnic culture to protect headwater forests. In Lao Cai, authorities are promoting the organized cultivation of indigenous medicinal plants beneath forest canopies to preserve genetic resources and prevent soil erosion. Additionally, coastal communities in Hoi An and Da Nang continue to weave tourism into fishing and seafood trading, benefiting local businesses like homestays and restaurants.
