Quang Tri public land management reveals multiple violations

The Government Inspectorate of Vietnam has identified numerous violations regarding the management and use of public land and housing in Quang Tri Province. An inspection of 25 facilities revealed that 13 sites have remained vacant for over 12 consecutive months, with many falling into disrepair.

Furthermore, seven facilities were found to be used for business or leasing purposes that do not align with approved land-use planning or designated purposes. The inspectorate noted that in several instances, approved rearrangement plans lacked feasibility, leading to prolonged waste of state resources. Specific examples of mismanagement include the assignment of facilities to agencies with no actual need for them and land auction plans being approved for areas that have not completed site clearance or are currently being encroached upon.
