Spanish Royals host President Macron for state visit in Madrid

King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain hosted French President Emmanuel Macron and First Lady Brigitte Macron at the Royal Palace in Madrid during a two-day state visit. The diplomatic event included an official ceremony and a gala dinner, with the menu coordinated by renowned chef Joan Roca.

Queen Letizia drew significant attention for her attire, wearing a borrowed “Cloudy Blue” haute couture gown by Carolina Herrera. The dress featured a semi-transparent bodice with floral embroidery and cape-style sleeves. She also wore the historic Floral Tiara, a 19th-century diamond piece from the Mellerio jeweler that has been part of the Spanish royal collection since the 1960s.
