Queens woman arrested for alleged murder of five-year-old daughter
Francis Cabello, a 32-year-old Venezuelan woman, has been arrested in Queens, New York, after allegedly murdering her five-year-old daughter, Fabiana Cabello Singh. The incident occurred on the evening of Wednesday, October 14, in the Richmond Hill section of Queens.
According to police reports, Cabello contacted 911 and reportedly stated, “I killed my daughter.” Upon arriving at the residence on 110th Street, officers found the child unconscious with bleeding from her nose and mouth. She was rushed to Jamaica Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
An autopsy conducted by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has revealed findings suggesting asphyxiation, including broken blood vessels and scratches around the child's eyes, heart, and lungs. While initial reports noted a lack of visible external bruising, the forensic evidence points toward suffocation.
Cabello remains in custody without bail. Family members noted she had a history of mental health issues. The victim's father, Kukdeep Singh, stated he had no reason to fear for the child's safety prior to the incident.
