Querétaro authorities arrest 10 in simultaneous multi-municipality raids

The State Attorney General's Office (FGE) conducted 10 simultaneous raids across the municipalities of Querétaro, Amealco de Bonfil, and Pedro Escobedo. The operations, part of the ‘Sinergia por Querétaro’ inter-institutional strategy, resulted in the arrest of 10 individuals, including seven adults and three adolescents.

Authorities seized various items during the interventions, including substances resembling methamphetamine, marijuana, and powder drugs. Also recovered were handmade weapons, live cartridges, a firearm, digital scales, and cash. Investigators also collected surveillance cameras, mobile phones, and documentation related to ongoing investigations into health crimes, intentional injuries, and property damage.

In Pedro Escobedo, one specific raid led to the arrest of an adult and two adolescents in connection with investigations involving prohibited weapons and intentional injuries. The operation involved coordinated efforts between the State Police, National Guard, the Mexican Army, and municipal security forces.
