FGR operations seize hydrocarbons and arrest suspects in Mexico
Mexican federal and state authorities have conducted several operations targeting organized crime and hydrocarbon theft. In Querétaro and Corregidora, the Sinergia operation resulted in nine arrests across eight searches, including a suspected security official and two former security personnel.
The Federal Attorney General (FGR) also executed operations to combat hydrocarbon crimes. In Celaya, Guanajuato, approximately 4,000 liters of hydrocarbons were seized. In Pedro Escobedo, Querétaro, authorities discovered and disabled three clandestine fuel intakes. Additionally, 450 liters of hydrocarbons were seized in Coyuca de Benítez, Guerrero.
In separate criminal investigations, arrest warrants were executed against three individuals—identified as José N, Juan N, and Ángel N—for alleged involvement in homicide, organized crime, and violations of migration laws. In Uruapan, Michoacán, a woman was arrested for her suspected role in express kidnapping, while a male accomplice was detained in possession of methamphetamine and a vehicle with altered identification.
