Querétaro Empowerment Center graduates over 500 women
More than 500 women have graduated from the third generation of the Querétaro Empowerment Center for Women. The graduation ceremony, led by Querétaro Municipal President Felipe Fernando Macías Olvera, recognized participants for completing various certification programs designed to foster personal, professional, and economic autonomy.
The training was organized through the Secretariat of Women and included four specific programs: the Autonomy Circle, the Empowerment Circle, Employability, and Entrepreneurship. These initiatives aim to provide tools and knowledge to help women make informed decisions regarding their personal and professional projects.
Beatriz León Sotelo, the Secretary of Women, noted that the center has served over 16,000 women since its opening one year ago. During the event, Macías Olvera emphasized that the acquired skills should serve as a foundation for new economic and labor projects, encouraging the graduates to continue contributing to the city's development.
