Querétaro hosts major cultural events including Cirque du Soleil

Querétaro is hosting several major cultural events throughout September. The Universidad Autónoma de Querétaro (UAQ) has announced a program of eight performances at the Hangar 001 Scenic Forum located at its Aeropuerto campus. The lineup, scheduled between September 4 and September 26, includes dance, music, theater, and film, featuring groups such as the Estudiantina Femenil de la UAQ and the Rondalla Universitaria UAQ.

Additionally, Cirque du Soleil is premiering its new production, ‘Echo’, at the Autódromo de Querétaro. The show, which debuted on September 3, features 53 artists and a production crew of approximately 200 people. The production utilizes a large tent capable of seating 1,400 people and includes specialized facilities for rehearsals, costume management, and physical therapy.
