Querétaro Announces Statewide Youth Month Program for August

The Secretariat of Youth of the State of Querétaro (SEJUVE), led by Virginia Hernández Vázquez, unveiled a comprehensive agenda for August to mark Youth Month. The program, coordinated with municipal youth institutes across all 18 municipalities, features the State Youth Award ceremony, a Social Run, reforestation activities, and a Youth Entrepreneurship Bazaar.

Partnerships with the Santander Group will deliver financial‑education workshops, while a collaboration with the Krach Institute will launch 60,000 scholarships in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and other emerging technologies. The existing "No te la juegues" prevention program will be reinforced in bars and nightclubs, and a new strategy for natural‑disaster risk prevention will be presented in the coming days.

The agenda also includes sports, cultural, environmental, entrepreneurship and mental‑health events, aiming to provide year‑round opportunities for the more than 739,000 young residents of Querétaro.
