Quimsa awaits BCL Americas draw in Miami

The official draw for the eighth edition of the Basketball Champions League Americas (BCL Americas) is scheduled to take place on September 1 in Miami, Florida. The event will determine the matchups for the 12 participating clubs ahead of the tournament's start in December 2026.

Argentina will be represented by three teams: Quimsa, Ferro, and Gimnasia. Other participants include SESI Franca, Minas, and Pinheiros from Brazil; Aguada, Biguá, and Peñarol from Uruguay; Astros de Jalisco from Mexico; Real Estelí from Nicaragua; and Guaiqueríes de Margarita from Venezuela.

The tournament champion will earn the right to represent the Americas in the FIBA Intercontinental Cup 2027. The current defending champion is Boca Juniors, following their victory in the 2025/26 edition.
