Quirón executive summoned to investigate alleged kickbacks

A Madrid judge has summoned Fernando Camino, an executive at Quirón Prevención, to appear for formal investigation on December 3. The probe is examining allegations of business corruption and corporate misappropriation.

Investigators are looking into whether a €500,000 transaction was used to disguise kickbacks or reward commercial favors. Specifically, authorities are scrutinizing the 2020 purchase of the company Círculo de Belleza SL by Alberto González Amador, the partner of Madrid regional president Isabel Díaz Ayuso. González Amador purchased the firm from Gloria Carrasco, the wife of Fernando Camino.

Judicial authorities noted that the purchase price appeared disproportionate to the company's actual assets and business activity, as the firm had reported a turnover of only €30,000 the previous year. This investigation is being conducted separately from the ongoing tax fraud inquiry involving González Amador.
