Quito job fair offers 3,000 vacancies through government initiative
The Ecuadorian government, through the Ministry of Labor and Human Development, organized the ‘Feria Encuentra Empleo Quito 2026’ at the Los Quitus Coliseum. The event aimed to connect job seekers, particularly youth, with the formal labor market.
More than 70 private companies participated, offering approximately 3,000 vacancies across various sectors, including administration, technology, customer service, health, food, finance, logistics, and sales. Participating companies included Arca Continental, McDonald’s, Pronaca, Claro, and Grupo Bimbo, among others.
In addition to recruitment processes, the Ministry provided advisory services regarding the ‘Encuentra Empleo’ platform, offered free training options to improve professional profiles, and made labor inspectors available to answer questions regarding contracts, wages, and working hours.
