Quảng Ninh launches major infrastructure projects following city status

Following the National Assembly's official resolution to establish Quảng Ninh as a city, the region has launched a massive wave of infrastructure and economic development projects.

Across the province, 24 major projects with a total investment of approximately 46,816 billion VND are scheduled for commencement or inauguration. Key developments include several industrial zones such as Đông Triều, Quảng Yên, An Hưng, and the industrial infrastructure project in the Northeast area of Vân Đồn Airport, which is being developed by Quang Ngan Industrial Development and Investment JSC with an investment of 2,578 billion VND.

Localities are also focusing on urban beautification and social infrastructure. In Hạ Long Ward, three projects totaling 78.2 billion VND are underway to improve urban landscapes and residential environments. Additionally, youth organizations across the province are contributing through community works, such as road improvements and digital communication campaigns, to celebrate the new administrative status of the region.
