Quảng Trị high school exam point under investigation for alleged cheating

Social‑media posts on 10 July alleged that invigilators and exam‑board members at Lê Trực High School in Quảng Trị province guided candidates during the 2026 high‑school graduation exam, citing unusually high scores in some rooms. The Quảng Trị Department of Education and Training convened an emergency meeting, formed a special task force and coordinated with provincial police to verify the claims. Officials said any violations would be dealt with strictly in accordance with the law.

The school’s headmaster, Nguyễn Minh Đức, and the exam‑site manager, Phạm Ngọc Hưng, denied any irregularities, stating that staffing followed standard procedures, only one teacher acted as deputy site‑leader and another as secretary, with the rest of the invigilators drawn from other schools. They reported no abnormal results among the 333 candidates. The investigation remains ongoing, with no official conclusion released yet.
