Racibórz students participate in youth exchange in Zugló

A group of 15 students from Racibórz, Poland, participated in an international youth camp in Hungary from August 10–16, 2026. Invited by the mayor of Zugló, a partner district of Budapest, the students from primary schools No. 13, 15, and 18 engaged in cultural and educational activities alongside peers from Romania, Bulgaria, and Hungary.

The itinerary included exploring Budapest via bus and boat, visiting the Museum of Illusions, and touring Kiskunság National Park. In the park, participants visited a shepherding museum, watched traditional equestrian acrobatics, and observed the Bugac stud farm. The program also featured workshops and integration activities in Soltvadkert organized with the Zugló Youth Council.

The delegation met with Zugló Mayor András Rózsai and Vice Mayor Andrea Kinisch to exchange gifts and discuss the long-standing partnership between Racibórz and Zugló, which has existed for nearly 30 years and was formally signed in 2008.
