Racing 92 ramps up pre‑season as stadium shift forces temporary relocations

Racing 92’s pre‑season training began on 20 July with a focus on continuity. Manager Patrice Collazo highlighted that the squad retained most of its core, integrating only four new players, which should allow the team to "gain precious time" compared with last year’s integration of seventeen newcomers. The club aims to develop its playing identity and strengthen player automatism before the Top 14 campaign.

The club also faces an unusual stadium situation for the 2026‑27 season. Renovations for the 2030 Winter Games will temporarily close the Paris La Défense Arena, forcing Racing 92 to play its home matches away from its current home. While the Yves‑du‑Moir stadium in Colombes undergoes work for the 2024 Olympic field‑hockey tournament, the team will use the Dominique‑Duvauchelle stadium in Créteil as a base and will schedule additional fixtures at other venues across France.

Collazo expressed confidence that, despite the venue changes, the club can remain competitive and use the period to solidify its squad and tactics.
