Radisson Hotel Group adds 160 hotels in H1, expands Indian pipeline to 100 properties

Radisson Hotel Group (RHG) reported signing and opening 160 hotels with more than 22,000 keys in the first half of 2026, strengthening its portfolio across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia‑Pacific. The group highlighted 22 new openings in India, bringing its development pipeline in the country to nearly 100 hotels and increasing its operating base to 142 hotels and over 15,500 rooms.

In India, RHG signed 18 hotels (2,082 rooms) and opened four properties, adding 394 keys. New market entries were announced in Kishangarh, Meerut, Roorkee, Coorg and Kalimpong, while flagship projects such as Radisson Collection Hotel Navi Mumbai, Radisson Collection Hotel Mysore and Radisson RED Mumbai International Airport illustrate a focus on luxury and lifestyle segments. The company also introduced AI‑powered price‑matching for direct online bookings and was recognised as one of India’s Best Workplaces in Hotels & Resorts for 2026.

Globally, the group rolled out brand extensions and resort openings in Tenerife, Phuket and New Zealand, expanded its Verified Net Zero programme with new hotels in Norway, Denmark, Sweden, the United Kingdom and South Africa, and earned a Michelin star for its restaurant at Cour des Loges Lyon. Executives cited strong owner confidence, rising travel demand and improving infrastructure as drivers of the accelerated growth strategy.
