Radisson Hotel Group expands globally, adds 10 Indian hotels

Overview

In the first half of 2026 Radisson Hotel Group reported 160 new hotels and more than 22,000 keys across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Asia‑Pacific, with 22 openings in India that lifted its Indian operating base to 142 hotels and over 15,500 rooms. The development pipeline in India reached almost 100 properties after signing 18 hotels (2,082 rooms) and opening four additional sites, adding 394 keys. New market entries were announced in Kishangarh, Meerut, Roorkee, Coorg and Kalimpong, while flagship luxury and lifestyle projects such as Radisson Collection Navi Mumbai, Radisson Collection Mysore and Radisson RED Mumbai International Airport continued to anchor the strategy. On 15 July the group signed a 208‑room Radisson RED hotel near Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, the eighth property in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, slated to open by December 2026. The design‑led, lifestyle hotel will feature extensive meeting space, dining, spa and fitness facilities, reinforcing the focus on high‑growth gateway cities. Later in July, Radisson Hotel Group announced ten additional hotel signings across seven Indian states – Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and Gujarat – spanning six brands (Radisson, Radisson Blu, Park Inn, Park Inn & Suites, Radisson Individuals Premier and Radisson Individuals Retreats). The new properties target pilgrimage towns (e.g., Radisson Hotel Tirupati, Park Inn & Suites Mathura Vrindavan), Bengaluru’s business and technology corridor (Radisson Blu Resort & Spa Bengaluru, Park Inn Electronic City, The Lavish Hotel) and leisure/wildlife destinations (Radisson Blu Resort & Spa Jawai, Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa Vadodara, Jungle Home Resort Tadoba). Managing Director Nikhil Sharma highlighted the shift beyond metros into temple towns, business corridors and wildlife circuits, while Vice‑President Davashish Srivastava noted a mix of greenfield developments, conversions and asset‑light franchise models.
