Radnički Kragujevac wins water polo season opener

Radnički Kragujevac has commenced its new water polo season with a 23:7 victory against newcomer Nais Niš in the Regional Water Polo League. To manage the squad during the opening match, coach Uroš Stevanović rested several veteran players, providing playing time to younger members of the team.

Three-time Olympic champion Sava Ranđelović stated that the team is highly motivated following an extended summer break and intensive preparations, including training in Košice and a sparring session in Dubrovnik. The club's primary objectives for the season include defending their Serbian and regional titles, winning the Serbian Cup, and reaching the top eight in the Champions League.

The squad continues to feature legendary player Andrija Prlainović, who enters his 24th senior season. Prlainović, one of the most decorated athletes in Serbian sports history, aims to add further trophies to his career, including the Champions League, Regional League, Super League, and Serbian Cup.
