Radnički Kragujevac water polo season

Overview

Radnički Kragujevac began its Regional Water Polo League season with a 23:7 victory against Nais Niš. To manage the squad, coach Uroš Stevanović utilized younger players while resting several veterans. The club has set objectives to defend Serbian and regional titles, win the Serbian Cup, and reach the top eight in the Champions League.

As part of its regional schedule, Radnički Kragujevac hosted a double-header at its home pool against Šabac and Valis Valjevo. Šabac arrived with momentum following a 16:6 first-round win, featuring players such as Darko Đurović and former Radnički members Nebojša Toholj and Nemanja Stanojević. Valis Valjevo, returning to the top regional tier, fielded a rejuvenated squad including Zoran Poznanović and Lazar Antić. Admission to these matches remained free of charge.

In European competition, Radnički Kragujevac is set to begin its Champions League main stage campaign against Nagyváradi VSK. The match will take place on Tuesday, October 6, at the Ioan Alexandrescu Olympic Swimming Pool in Romania. The Serbian champions feature a roster of Olympic gold medalists, including Andrija Prlainovic, Nikola Dedovic, and Strahinja Rasovic.
