Radom: Century-old religious shrine vandalized

A century-old shrine in Radom has been vandalized. The damage includes paint being poured over the structure, as well as damage to the pedestal, the figure of the Virgin Mary, the interior of the niche, and the protective glass pane.

The local parish priest, Father Roman Adamczyk, described the act as “blasphemous against God and believers.” The shrine, founded in 1930 by Michał and Teofila Mąkosa, holds historical significance as a monument built during a period of financial hardship for the founders. The incident occurred in two stages, with vandalism reported between Friday and Monday.
