Radosław Sikorski criticizes Mateusz Morawiecki and Rozwój Plus

Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski has launched sharp criticisms against Mateusz Morawiecki and his new political movement, Rozwój Plus. Sikorski condemned proposals from Morawiecki’s circle regarding migration policy, which include establishing a deportation service, a ministry for migration and assimilation, and stricter border controls. Specifically, Sikorski criticized suggestions to hold a referendum on Poland’s participation in the Schengen Area, arguing that such moves aim to dismantle European integration.

In a separate incident involving the same political group, Sikorski also targeted Marek Jakubiak, a politician associated with Rozwój Plus. The Foreign Minister questioned whether an “antisemite” would serve as a face for Morawiecki’s movement following an online interaction where Jakubiak used an antisemitic slur against a user on social media.
