Radu Miruță criticizes traffic mismanagement on Valea Oltului

Radu Miruță, the interim Minister of Transport, has expressed strong criticism regarding traffic management on the Valea Oltului road (DN7). After being stuck in a traffic jam for over an hour, Miruță personally inspected the construction site to investigate the cause of the congestion.

He reported that while only four workers were actively engaged in tasks, several others were observed resting in a parking area. Miruță noted that the site coordinator was not present at the location, having reportedly gone to a nearby pension.

According to the minister, the traffic stoppages were chaotic and exceeded the 15-minute limit permitted for exceptional circumstances by CNAIR. In response, Miruță has contacted the general director of CNAIR and the director of the Craiova regional office, requesting that a CNAIR official be permanently present at such sites to ensure work is organized efficiently and traffic impact is minimized.
